1. Overview
This Pre-Order Policy explains how pre-orders work at Poke Spot, including what to expect on release dates, payment, allocation changes, cancellations, and shipping. By placing a pre-order at pokespotme.com, you agree to the terms set out below.
Pre-orders are a great way to reserve upcoming Pokémon TCG releases, figures, plush, and other in-demand items before they arrive in stock. Because pre-orders depend on suppliers and distributors, a few things work differently than a standard in-stock order — and we want those rules to be clear from the start.
2. What a Pre-Order Is
A pre-order reserves a product that is expected to arrive in the future. When you place a pre-order, you are securing a unit from our incoming allocation, subject to supplier delivery, release-date changes, and quantity limits.
Pre-order items are not in stock at the time you place the order. They ship only after stock has been received from our supplier and processed by our team.
3. Release Dates and Estimated Timing
Release dates shown on product pages are supplier estimates. They may change due to:
- Supplier or distributor schedule updates
- Manufacturing or shipping delays
- Local customs and import processing
- Changes in regional release timing
Pre-order items are not guaranteed for a specific arrival day unless Poke Spot clearly confirms that promise in writing on the product page or in a direct communication with you.
If a release date moves materially, we will share an update with affected customers and explain the next steps.
4. Payment for Pre-Orders
Customers are charged or authorized for pre-orders according to the payment method selected at checkout. The exact billing flow — full payment at order, deposit, authorization at checkout with charge at shipment, or cash on delivery at the time of arrival — will be displayed on the product page or at checkout for each pre-order.
Where a non-refundable deposit applies, it will be clearly disclosed before you confirm the order.
5. Allocations and Supplier Changes
Pre-order stock is subject to supplier allocation. The number of units we are able to fulfill depends on the quantity our distributors actually deliver, which can be lower than originally expected.
If the allocated quantity is reduced or canceled, Poke Spot may:
- Partially fulfill affected orders
- Delay shipment until a later batch arrives
- Cancel affected orders and issue an appropriate refund
- Offer an alternative product, store credit, or another resolution where possible
If your pre-order is affected, we will contact you with the next steps as soon as we can.
6. Mixed Orders (In-Stock + Pre-Order)
If your order contains both in-stock and pre-order items, the default behavior is to ship the entire order together once all items are ready, including the pre-order item.
If split shipping is offered for your order, this option will be shown at checkout, along with any additional shipping cost. If you need your in-stock items sooner, please consider placing them as a separate order from your pre-order items.
7. Pre-Order Cancellations
Pre-order cancellation rules depend on whether the item has shipped and on any specific terms shown at checkout.
Before Shipment
Cancellation requests received before the pre-order ships may be accepted, subject to the cancellation terms clearly disclosed at checkout for that specific product. Where a non-refundable deposit, deduction, or processing fee applies, it will have been disclosed before you placed the order.
To request a cancellation, please contact us as soon as possible using the details in Section 12 with your order number.
After Shipment
Once a pre-order item has shipped, the standard rules in our Return & Exchange Policy apply. The item is no longer eligible for a pre-order cancellation, but you may still be able to request a return, exchange, or refund based on the conditions in that Policy.
Cancellations by Poke Spot
Poke Spot may cancel a pre-order if the product is discontinued by the supplier, allocation is fully canceled, the listed price was significantly incorrect, or the order cannot be fulfilled for reasons outside our control. In these cases, we will issue a full refund of any amount charged for the canceled item.
8. Promotional Gifts, Launch Bonuses, and Special Inserts
Some pre-orders include promotional gifts, launch bonuses, or special inserts tied to a specific release window.
These bonuses are available only while allocated stock lasts unless otherwise stated. If a launch bonus runs out before your pre-order ships, we will let you know and offer the closest available alternative where possible.
If a pre-order is returned, the related promotional gift or launch bonus must be returned with it in original condition. Otherwise, the value of the missing item may be deducted from the refund.
9. Shipping of Pre-Orders
Pre-order items ship after stock is received and processed. Standard shipping rules and timeframes from our Shipping Policy then apply, based on your location and the courier handling the order.
You will receive a confirmation when your pre-order is dispatched. If shipping is materially delayed beyond the original estimate, we will notify you and share the next expected step.
10. Returns, Defects, and Wrong Items
Pre-order items follow the same return, exchange, and defect rules as standard in-stock items once they have been delivered. Please refer to our Return & Exchange Policy and Authenticity & Product Condition Policy for full details.
In summary:
- Defective or damaged items: contact us within 48 hours of delivery with order number and photos.
- Wrong items received: contact us as soon as possible so we can correct the order.
- Change-of-mind returns on delivered pre-orders: subject to the same 14-day window and conditions as in-stock items.
11. Updates to Pre-Order Information
Pre-orders depend on information from suppliers and distributors that can change before release. Poke Spot may update product details, release windows, contents, packaging, prices for unconfirmed pre-orders, or other listing information when supplier information changes.
Where a change materially affects your existing pre-order — for example, a significant price change, a major content change, or a long delay — we will contact you with the next steps and your available options.
